The Lodge was originally a private dwelling until 2003 when restoration took place to convert the mansion into a hotel.

The Lodge originally had 17 guest bedrooms and in April 2008 opened an extension, taking the number of rooms to 46. This extension is planned to eventually also increase our conference and event facilities.

There are two restaurants, Eden is open all year and can seat 120 people. Coconut Terrace is open for the dry season only and can seat up to 500 people around the swimming pool and on the raised terrace. Both restaurants serve from the same menu, a mixture of international, Chinese and Lebanese cuisine. Coconut terrace can also be hired out for large functions and weddings.

The Lodge has a Country Club with over 200 members; the facilities available to the members are a gymnasium, swimming pool, children’s pool, and a multi-use court for tennis and basketball
