Conference and Banqueting

Our new conference venue is an ideal venue for meetings, lectures and private functions. The room is 60ft x 30ft with its own bar and toilets.

The Terrace is situated by the swimming pool and is available for private functions; this setting is an ideal place for a wedding reception or cocktail party. The vantage point this terrace has over the panoramic views of Freetown and the Ocean takes the terrace above its competitors. Accompanied by the finest food whether a buffet or set menu , the event will be superb.

The Balcony in restaurant ‘ Eden’ can be hired out for set meals at lunch or in the evening, again the view is unsurpassed.

Eden restaurant can also be hired out for large bookings with a set menu or buffet.

Special Occasions

The spectacular views at the Country Lodge make this the ideal venue for any special occasion. Menus can be provided whether for a sit down 3 course set menu or a cocktail party with canapés. Our resident DJ can liven up any party and accompanied by our experienced conference and banqueting team we will ensure your special occasion will be one to remember.

Charity Events at the Lodge

Pink Charity Ball

On the 13th January 2006 a Pink Ball was held at The Country Lodge – organized by Isha Tejan Cole of the Pink Charity. The ball was held to raise money for the charity in order for them to buy a Mammogram machine for the Connaught hospital so all women in Sierra Leone can have free testing for Breast Cancer. The evening was a great success with a lot of money being pledged for this worthy cause. The guests were treated to a delicious 3 course meal, two fashion shows – a performance by Daddy Saj and Nasser Ayoub, an educational talk on Breast Cancer and many true life stories of women who have both lost and won the fight with breast cancer.

Charity Race Night

"On Saturday 16th July the Country Lodge and IMATT held a Charity Race night. Using films of races guests placed bets on horses with a percentage of the pot and ticket price going to the SOS Childrens Village in Sierra Leone, a total of Le 2,800,000 was raised. "

Fundraising Romantic Music Gala

On the 19th November Activated Mission Sierra Leone hosted a Fundraising Romantic Music Gala at The Country Lodge. The trio ‘Crescendo’ played throughout the evening with a surprise performance by Daddy Saj. It was a night of excellent entertainment resulting in funds being raised for school projects in Sierra Leone.
